Introduction

The Office of Accounting at NPTU manages affairs related to annual budgets, accounting, and statistics.

The office provides quality services and transparent budgetary administration to support the teaching, research, and services by simplifying administrative procedures and enhancing efficiency.

The office has one director who administers all affairs related to accounting. The Office of Accounting is responsible for completing the following tasks:

 

  1. Auditing and inspecting cashiers and accounting.

  2. Preparing accounting records, biannual, and annual fiscal reports.

  3. Preparing reports for annual budget implementation and managing implementation progress.

  4. Verifying the legality of all administrative, pedagogical, and commissioned research projects.

  5. Processing and preparing financial statements.

  6. Maintaining and preparing ledgers and financial statements.

  7. Auditing the financial operations of the university. The Office of Accounting closely monitors the capital flow, economic viability, and efficient budget enforcement.

  8. Coordinating the budgets of all departments and preparing university-wide budgets.

  9. Auditing the budget implementation and modifications.

 10. Supervising that all budgets are properly adhered to.

 11. Managing vouchers and archives.

 12. Managing cash and properties.

 13. Preparing the annual budget estimate of university funds and completing budget procedures.
